Open to all veterans · No riding experience needed

When the first veterans arrived, their initial question was, "Are we going to ride the horses?" Our approach at Mustang Valley Sanctuary is different. We believe in the power of building relationships, not just riding.

Mornings begin with the warmth of a campfire, where veterans share coffee and stories, then join in with daily chores, caring for the mustangs and connecting with the natural rhythm of the sanctuary. By observing the mustangs, veterans learn to focus on the present moment, to listen, and to problem-solve.

Mindfulness Walks

Slow down and walk the pasture among the herd. Mustangs live entirely in the present moment, and spending quiet time beside them is a simple way to set down the noise of the day.

Yoga with the Herd

Practice in the open air on our West Fulton ranch, with the mustangs grazing nearby. Sessions are offered through the year as part of our events calendar.

Camping at the Sanctuary

Spend a night under the stars on our 137-acre ranch and wake up to the herd. Day passes are also available for visitors who want to spend time with the mustangs.
